Academic foundation

Mohammad Rasool Omari holds a Master's degree in Environmental and Meteorological Sciences from Yazd University in Iran and a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture from Kabul University in Afghanistan, combining applied science with a strong grounding in land and resource systems.

Leading data analysis at national level

He served as General Manager of Data Analysis at the Ministry of Water & Energy, supervising data collection and analysis teams and preparing technical reports for government authorities and stakeholders. He has also worked as a Site Engineer, gaining hands-on experience in technical supervision and project coordination.

Research in climate and public health

His research spans snow cover monitoring and satellite analysis, rainfall and vegetation change assessment using CHIRPS and EVI datasets, urban green space and public health mapping, and bioclimatic comfort assessment of Kabul City.

International recognition

Mr. Omari has presented research at an international conference in Munich, Germany, and participated in the UNISFERE Research Fellowship in the Netherlands. He ranked 1st among 3,892 participants in a solid waste management discussion in Japan and has taken part in numerous international workshops, conferences, and professional development programs.
